About this contract
An architect-led design team with conservation expertise is required to deliver design development services (RIBA stages 2 & 3) and scheme delivery services (RIBA stages 4 - 6) for the 'Developing Manchester Jewish Museum - New Audiences, New Experiences' project. The project will fully restore the museum's Grade II* listed synagogue building and will create a new museum extension to house new galleries and spaces for learning, events and commercial operations. The design team will comprise the following disciplines: 1. Architect, including conservation specialism 2. Principal Designer services under the CDM 2015 regulations 3. Quantity Surveyor 4. Structural Engineer, ideally with conservation accreditation (CARE) 5. Mechanical and Electrical Services Engineer 6. Consultant to develop the Conservation Management Plan, who may be part of the design team leader's organisation but must be able to demonstrate independence from the design process in developing CMPs 7. Landscape design (See also 'additional information' at section VI.3) Interested parties must submit a completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire to express interest.
