About this contract
Aston University is putting in place an approved contractors list for main construction contractors. By being on the list the University will invite you to tender for projects in line with the contract size you are able to undertake, however being on the contractors list there is no guarantee of work and contractors will still need to competitively bid for the projects. Additional information: Please note that Aston University uses Constructionline to reduce the administrative burden on suppliers wishing to apply for this opportunity. To express an interest in this contract you will need to be Constructionline registered. We have adopted Constructionline as it means you will not need to complete a full PQQ ? simply supply your Constructionline membership number and complete the additional attached questions. Please ensure you log-in to your Constructionline profile and confirm the information they hold on your company is accurate and that you are registered for either Building General or Building Refurbishment over 15K. You must do this by <<3 DAYS PRIOR TO CLOSING DATE>> to ensure any changes can be made to your information prior to the closing date of this notice. You will need to start the registration process as soon as possible and ensure that you achieve a fully registered status by <<5 DAYS PRIOR TO CLOSING DATE>>. The University will be providing campus tours as well as giving a presentation on Wednesday 21st October at 1.00p.m on expectations of being on the approved list and the types of project that are likely to come up. This will allow you to make an informed decision on whether you would like to apply to be on the approved list. 1.00p.m - 2.00p.m Campus tour and view of completed projects. Location G8, Main building, but please report to reception in the first instance. 2.00p.m - 2.30p.m - Tea/coffee 2.30p.m - Presentation, followed by a questions and answers session. Please note that there is a maximum of 2 attendees per company. Please confirm your attendance by e-mail to ecdplanning@aston.ac.uk no later than Friday 9th October 2015, detailing the name of your company, name of attendees and whether parking is required.
