About this contract
This is a further opportunity for interested organisations to qualify to provide a Community Phlebotomy Service for Harrow Clinical Commissioning Group patients under the Any Qualified Provider process. The service will commence from the 1st August 2015 until 31st July 2017 with an option to extend for a further 12 months. The contract (NHS Standard Contract as mandated by NHS England) will be procured using the Any Qualified Provider Process (AQP). The AQP is a single stage process consisting of a qualification and technical stages contained within one document. Accreditation to the contract will result from providers complying with all requirements contained within. NHS Harrow CCG are seeking to commission a Community Phlebotomy Service to improve access to services through providing a convenient safe locations within the community which will relieve the pressure on secondary care services. The overall aim of the Community Phlebotomy Service will be to:- • Blood testing, recording and transportation to pathology laboratories for investigation • Improve access and patient choice • Deliver a timely services to those patients registered with a Harrow GP • Ensure patients are seen and treated in the right place at the right time and by the most appropriate person. • Deliver improved patient experience This procurement falls within Part B of Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 as amended (“the Regulations”) and Annex II B to Council Directive 2004/18/EC Additional information: Any queries providers have about this opportunity should be sent through the message board for the opportunity in the EU-Supply portal.
