About this contract

Provision of an Annual Inspection of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles, prior to the licensing of the vehicle. The inspection covers the general condition of the vehicle and its suitability to operate as a licensed vehicle. Around 650 vehicles require testing per year. Due to the nature of the service requirements, the contractor carrying out the inspections will be an approved Ministry MOT Test Station located within North Somerset.
