About this contract
Warrington Borough Council is looking to commission an Advocacy Hub to provide a single point of access to adult advocacy services for the people of Warrington. The aim of the hub is to streamline referrals through a single point of access, triage and prioritise referrals, provide continuity of advocate where appropriate and produce reports through a single management information system. The service will be delivered from a town centre location. The hub will provide a mixture of statutory and non-statutory advocacy, local project work and service user engagement work; supporting the work of both the Learning Disability and Mental Health Partnership Boards. The Council would like to streamline contractual arrangements by dealing with one provider or a prime provider. The Council is therefore interested in receiving proposals which include some form of collaboration working. For example, through the use of partnership agreements between exiting organisations, which identify a clear lead organisation.
