About this contract
England's North Walney National Nature Reserve and Cumbria Wildlife Trust's South Walney Reserve. As part of the NLHF Development Grant we are seeking to provide an access audit that will assess the current state of access to the two nature reserves and make recommendations for improvements to the physical, sensory and virtual access.. Our aspiration is to increase participation overall in the outdoors for health and wellbeing benefits, and in particular those with Protected Characteristics under the Equality Act (the Act) who are, or feel, excluded from these opportunities. We would anticipate that contractors will have a working knowledge of implementing By All Reasonable Means and Countryside for All Standards and Guidance and also have knowledge of the best methods of signage for inclusion of all potential users. Additional information: To apply for this opportunity you must submit your quotation meeting the requirements detailed in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) attached. Your response must be sent to Maggie.Robinson2@naturalengland.org.uk by 12 midday on 26/02/2024. If you have any clarification questions linked to this opportunity or the procurement process please submit these via email to Maggie.Robinson2@naturalengland.org.uk Please note that, unless commercially sensitive, both the question and the response will be circulated to all tenderers.
