About this contract
A Critical Review of the Impact of Food Processing on AMR Bacteria in Meat & Meat Products. Tenders are invited to carry out a critical review of the impact of secondary food processing on AMR bacteria in meat and meat products. This critical review will focus on the meat production chain and will consider the key meat processing stages (poultry and pigs being the main ones, but also to include other meats as possible sources of AMR such as those where antibiotic use is higher or where there is more use of the critically important antibiotics) which will help to identify where future surveillance activities are needed to plug important evidence gaps.
