About this contract

HSE SD currently has a number of servo-hydraulic test machines, ranging in capacity from 10 kN to 1500 kN. Our 500 kN test machine has failed and we have taken the opportunity to evaluate our needs. We have decided to replace the existing machine with a machine with a similar capacity, but with a significantly longer stroke, to give us more flexibility. This is likely to result in changing from a servo-hydraulic machine, to an electromechanical machine, although any type of machine that meets the requirements would be considered.
