In Stockport, 5 strategic site allocations were proposed in the draft GMSF (2016). Although no final decision has been made in relation to any of the proposed or alternative strategic site allocations, Stockport Council is seeking to appoint consultants to undertake 'high level' concept masterplanning, principally to further analyse their suitability and deliverability. This high level work will help to inform future decisions on the proposed allocations and potentially inform the site allocation policies in the next iteration of the draft GMSF.
