About this contract

The Environment Agency, on behalf of Natural Course, has awarded this contract to deliver a project for a study into the Water Governance arrangements currently in place within the North West River Basin District (NWRBD) (Excluding Areas within the Greater Manchester Combined Authority). This project forms part of the EU LIFE funded Natural Course Phase 3 programme and is constrained by the terms of this funding. The overall project will take a high level look at water governance across the region, look more specifically at the governance in Cumbria, asses existing work as well as domestic and international best practice and recommend a suitable governance structure to be trailed in Cumbria and how this can be implemented. The contract has been awarded to a single contractor as set out in the original notice.
