Request for Quotation for the Provision of 24hr Drop Tests on Cold Water Storage Tanks Swindon Borough Council (SBC), wishes to submit to RFQ the requirements for the provision of 24hr Drop Tests on Cold Water Storage Tanks Project Description Swindon Borough Council are looking for a suitably qualified contractor to undertake Cold Water Tank Drop Tests at selected locations and produce reports with results. • Undertake 24hr Drop Tests on Cold Water Storage Tanks at selected locations and submit reports. • Tests to commence at 7am in Hi-Rise Properties and 8am in Sheltered properties and take place over 24 hours • Reports to be produced and returned stating tank dimensions, volume of water held, make, model, materials used in tank construction, time taken to drain and volume of water drained, time test starts, time test ends, together with details of any remedial works and recommendations following the drop test. The contract term will be for 1 year as stated in the RFQ documents. Estimated contract spend is £55,000.00. Full details relating to the Services are provided in the RFQ documents. The relevant RFQ documents are included within this project webpage as attachments. RFQ clarifications to be submitted in writing via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to TenderingHousingProperty@swindon.gov.uk by 16th August 2019, 1200hrs UK Local time. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor's responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made. RFQ Responses are required to be submitted no later than 28th August 2019, 1200 hrs UK Local time by e-mail to Sarah Shearman at TenderingHousingProperty@swindon.gov.uk only. Please note: RFQs received in any other format will NOT be accepted.
