About this contract

Quality improvement support and continuing professional development for childminders, including new childminders. To enable the support and development of childminders in Cambridgeshire, the Council is commissioning a service to provide the following: • Advice, support and training for childminders on registration and prior to initial Ofsted visit • Support, advice and challenge for childminders to deliver high quality Early Years Foundation Stage provision in line with Ofsted Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements • Generic support for Cambridgeshire childminders, as directed by the Early Years, Childcare and School Readiness Service. • Collaborative working to support safeguarding, SEND and Equalities and the DfE EY expansion and wraparound projects.
