About this contract

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service came into being on 1 April 2016. Its current website was launched on the same date. The Service has decided that the time is right to procure a new website, building on the successes of the existing version but also taking into account the technological developments of the last ten years. This procurement is for the design and build of a new website, and also the on-going hosting and maintenance.The Authority proposes to enter into a contract with the Successful Bidder for a period of four years. The contract will commence on 26th May 2025, or as near as possible to this date. The initial term will expire 31st March 2029. The Authority may extend the contract for three further periods of 24 months. The maximum contract term is therefore ten years.
