About this contract

AHDB intend to procure a Contract over the next five years to a successful Supplier for the provision of Vote Election Management. The successful supplier will be required to administer and deliver an annual independent voting process at the end of October/early November each year - 2024 to 2028 inclusive, as well as ensuring value for money for levy payers is provided. Budget range £40-50k excluding VAT (and excluding postage costs) for the combined 5 vote years. The 2024, 2026 and 2027 votes are planned to be simple votes to ratify the appointments of new Sector Council members to vacant positions or the renewal of SC members for a second term. These positions are on the four separate Sector Councils which cover a) beef/lamb b) pork c) dairy d) cereals/oilseeds. 2025 and 2028 votes are planned to be more extensive to capture voting on the potential priority areas for levy-funded work, as well as ratifying the appointments of any new/renewal of Sector Council members. The Contract is expected to commence on 2nd September 2024. The initial Contract duration is 5 years (with break clauses) with the option to extend by x1 12-month period on a single term basis.
