About this contract
The University of Wolverhampton has the vision to be The University of Opportunity – renowned for creativity and innovation – developing students and staff who are entrepreneurial, eminently employable and well connected within a research and professionally informed environment. To meet this ambitious vision, the university is embarking on a major redevelopment of its Telford campus which includes developing the laboratories within the school of Engineering. The main aim of this project is upgrading the automotive laboratory mainly for teaching purposes with potential expansion for research activities. The aim of this project is to upgrade the Automotive teaching lab by introducing two educational engine test rigs (petrol and diesel engine test rigs) and one exhaust-gas test and diagnostics suitable to monitor the exhaust gas emissions for both petrol and diesel engine test rigs. It must note that the equipment provided will be used for teaching purposes which means that any item brought forward by the bidders must fulfil this requirement to be included in the selection process.
