About this contract
Hull City Council, in partnership with NHS England, is redesigning its 0-19 public health nursing services for children and young people. The new model will have a clear focus on improving access to help and support for a whole range of health issues at a much earlier stage in people's lives. The development of a 0-19 integrated public health nursing model will present new opportunities for strengthening primary prevention,health promotion and early help by developing a robust approach to improving health outcomes for children, young people and families across Hull. It will ensure delivery of a robust immunisation programme for young people. The 0-19 Integrated Public Health Nursing Model will deliver innovative solutions to existing problems that impede the delivery of integrated services and will demonstrate best practice partnership / multi-agency working. It will actively seek to support families as well as individuals from birth, through school, and into adulthood. Please note the Authority has also identified additional social value benefits that it requires from this contract. The successful economic operator will enter in to two separate contracts for delivery of the service, one with the Authority and one with NHS England.
